Nurturing Faith, Building Futures
At Strawbridge Community Church, our Kids Ministry is a vibrant and nurturing space where children are not just the future of our faith community; they are valued, cherished members today. With an unwavering commitment to sharing God’s love and teachings with our youngest members, our Kids Ministry provides an environment where faith flourishes, lifelong friendships are forged, and little hearts grow in grace and wisdom.
We invite families in the Strawbridge Community Church community to join us in the wonderful adventure of faith and growth within our Kids Ministry. Our mission is to walk alongside your children as they discover God’s love and develop a firm foundation for a lifelong journey of faith.
At Strawbridge Community Church, we understand the immense potential within each child and are committed to nurturing their spiritual growth and helping them discover their unique place in God’s kingdom. Come and be a part of our Kids Ministry, where we celebrate the joy and wonder of childhood while fostering a deep and abiding faith.
Faith is a Relationship
At Strawbridge Community Church, we firmly believe that faith is more than a set of beliefs or rituals; it’s a living, dynamic relationship with our Creator. Our journey of faith is about building a deep and personal connection with God, where we experience His love, guidance, and grace in our everyday lives. It’s an ever-evolving, transformative relationship that empowers us to seek, serve, and love others as an outpouring of our love for the Divine. This understanding guides our worship, service, and fellowship, reminding us that faith is not just a destination but an ongoing, intimate journey of connection and growth.
Everything we do in the Children’s Ministry is to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and each other. Relationship building needs to be nurtured with intentional time. Strawbridge Community Church is a place where kids can learn to know Christ on their level.
Safe Sanctuaries
God calls us to make our churches safe places, protecting children and other vulnerable persons while in our care. He calls us to create communities of faith where children and adults grow safe and strong. (from The Book of Resolutions of The Community Church–2000, pp. 180-181.)
Strawbridge Community Church’s leaders are committed to making our church a safe environment for children and those who work with them. We want our children, youth, and those disciplining them to thrive as we all grow in grace.
In addition to the annual Safe Sanctuary Disclosure Form, the church requires a Criminal Background Check to be conducted once every five years.
