ONLINE WORSHIP: We offer a LIVE, online-service every Sunday at 8:30 am via Facebook.

OUTDOOR WORSHIP:  The OUTDOOR 8:30 am service will be held on the church lawn and attendees are asked to either stay in your vehicles or bring lawn and sports chairs to sit outside your vehicles while remaining socially distanced. Parking on the church lawn will be spacious and should serve us well. When you come to the church, please enter the church lawn from Route 31 instead of pulling onto the church lot as usual. The church lot will be used for ONE WAY egress when it is time to exit the service.

Note that restrooms will be available by entering the Fellowship Hall (far side) and exiting the Fellowship Hall door near restrooms/water fountain. This setup will help again in the social distancing. Finally, when exiting the service, we can collect the offering as you pass the front of the church on egress (while remaining in your vehicle).

Be certain to bring a mask and we will SEE YOU THIS SUNDAY.

REOPENING PLAN: Strawbridge UMC has adopted phases that will be used to determine when we will be able to resume in-person worship and other activities. More details to come!

How long are the services?

Services last about an hour and a half. All of our services start with praise music and greetings.

What do you do for kids?

We want kids to experience Jesus on their level and know your kids are our top priority.

We offer a 9:30 am Sunday School for all ages in the social hall (rear of church).

What should I wear?

We want you to be comfortable while you’re here. Some wear suits and dresses, while others wear casual attire. Don’t feel like you have to dress up to experience Strawbridge church.

How do I get involved?

Among the ways to get involved include:

  • Attend worship service on the weekend.
  • Join an Adult Studies group where you grow in a community with great people.
  • Participate in outreach efforts — locally or across the country or ocean.
  • Become a Member of this church.

We want to connect with you. Click here.

What to Expect

Communion is offered on the first Sunday of every month. You do not need to be a member of any church to share in worship and to participate in the sacraments of communion or baptism. Bread is broken and given, and you may choose either to dip the bread in a common cup or to pick up an individual server. Gluten-free wafers and chalice are available for people with gluten sensitivity.
