World Communion Sunday, October 3rd (8:30am) will be celebrated at Strawbridge Community Church with Outdoor Worship on the church lawn and streamed LIVE via Facebook. Attached (pdf) is the full program and Communion Liturgy for the service, and we pray you and all whom you love join us. Every first Sunday in the month of October, we worship around God’s globe as ONE church, ONE faith and ONE baptism in the Lord. Please pass the word and make certain if you will be watching via online, each person in your home has elements to join in communion. If you come to the outdoor service, a communion chalice and printed program will be here for you. The weather promises to be sunny and mild, hence bring a lawn chair and a jacket, shawl or sweater for comfort.

Following our service, we have been invited to a fellowship cookout at Daisy UMC (2685 Daisy Road, Woodbine) with Pastor Kathy Smallwood. Daisy members were kind enough to join us in Libertytown Park for our recent Homecoming celebration, and we certainly want to support them. Again, pack your lawn chair for the occasion; start time is 12:30pm.
